Lector handles the entire process from analysis and conversion to delivery
If you are among those who have submit data from IT systems to the National Archives, Lector can help you. For more than 10 years, we have built up a solid experience with deliveries to the National Archives.
We have handled submissions for, among other things:
Lector has developed a process that makes it easy to submit a delivery to the National Archives, regardless of which system your documents are in, and with a minimum use of resources for you. Lector follows the National Archives’ process for submissions closely.
In all its simplicity, we analyze your data and take part in the dialogue with the National Archives (or the local archive, if you use a §7 archive), so that the correct data and the desired documentation are delivered correctly the first time – and with a realistic time schedule.
Once it has been clarified which data is to be handed over, we make sure that there is no password protected files, ZIP files that needs extraction or other files that cannot be processed.
Next, we convert data to the submission format and test the conversion with the National Archives’ test program, Ada, and carry out our own samples. The actual conversion takes place with Lector’s own developed engine. We also use the engine in our own ECM solution TeamShare, from which we have completed many deliveries to the National Archives.
Of course, we make sure that the conversion work takes into account that it is necessary for you to be able to continue with your normal work while the conversion takes place.
Your data is handled in accordance with the GDPR and Persondataloven, and we can guarantee that data will never leave the country if we provide server capacity. Of course, if desired or required, all work can also be performed in your own IT environment.
By letting Lector take care of your submission, you get several benefits:
In short, you can safely leave your delivery to us – we make sure to guide and carry out the practical work.
“Lector helped us with the delivery to the National Archives. From the initial meeting to the submission itself, Lector has been responsible and has handled the entire process in a reassuring way – and we got the delivery approved in the first version.”
