Lector complies with the Danish Data Protection Agency’s rules and guidelines for the storage of personal data, and annually undergoes an inspection by an external IT auditing company.

In this connection, an ISAE 3000 declaration is issued regarding compliance with the Data Protection Act (Personal Data Regulation / GDPR). You can see the latest statement here (in Danish).

In the services and systems, we provide, we always have the legislation in mind, both in terms of design and security. We only provide solutions that are safe and thoroughly tested.

We support our customers’ compliance with applicable legislation in the solutions we market, and with functionality and user-friendliness as a top priority.

We take “our own medicine” and use our own systems internally where possible.

In many cases, Lector’s role is as a data processor, with possible access to sensitive personal information which is covered by the Data Protection Act.

Therefore, we are used to maintaining a high level of security, and our employees work daily within the framework of security policies and data processor agreements.
