Digitization of extension number schedules

With a new digital application for extension numbers in TeamShare The time spent by employees is halved, while members receive faster case processing.

Danske Fysioterapeuter processes between 1000 - 1200 applications for extension numbers per year for physiotherapists who work under the health insurance agreement.

Registration is done by the physiotherapist filling out and sending a form to Danske Fysioterapeuter, which ensures that the physiotherapist is authorized, after which the form is sent to the region.

User-friendly application process

Until now, there have been many manual processes in Danske Fysioterapeuter case processing. Through a manual process, the applicants filled out an editable PDF, which had to be printed and signed, and finally scanned and sent as an attachment in an email.

With the new digital solution, it has now become much easier. Instead of filling out an editable PDF, the applicant must fill out a user-friendly online form, after which he/she can sign digitally with MitID. Once the application is signed, the case is sent directly to the region.

Automated case processing

A large part of the manual processes in Danske Fysioterapeuter Case processing has been automated:

• Automatic authorization number check
  When the applicant fills out the form online, there is an automatic validation of the authorization number via a lookup in the external register at the Danish Patient Safety Agency.
• Automatic forwarding to the region
  If the authorization number can be validated, the signed document is automatically forwarded to the region.
• Automatic case creation
  A case is automatically created in TeamShare on the physiotherapist who is the applicant. If it is a matter of employment on an existing external number or a temporary worker, both parties are also linked to the case. This provides the best possible overview for the employees.
