When you buy or sell wine, beer, spirits, tobacco and/or certain mineral oil products that are to be transported duty-free (duty suspension) from one EU country to another EU country, you must use EMCS, which is mandatory for companies. It requires registration with the Danish Customs Board for the tax in question.
EMCS used in connection with trade among EU member states, to combat tax fraud and ensure the safe movement of excise goods with real-time information and control of goods moving under duty suspension. EMCS also helps simplify procedures and expedite the release of guarantees when goods arrive at their destination.
I EMCS You can create and acknowledge accompanying documents electronically, just as acknowledgement of receipt of goods is also done electronically.
EMCS-module in LTS handles both incoming and outgoing EMCStransactions. The module is integrated with the Danish Customs Agency's EMCSsystem, which enables accompanying documents to be handled in LTS from start to finish.
At the same time, it supports LTS also all available message types in the Danish Customs Agency EMCS-solution.
From LTS you can, among other things:
LTS can also generate a EMCS administrative report (PDF), which the driver must bring when the goods leave the warehouse.
Using an email notification, you can LTS notify the user when new changes occur in the process. This gives the user the opportunity to act in time if the goods are not delivered by the deadline in the accompanying document.
EMCSThe module is fully integrated into Lector's cloud-based standard solution LTS - Logistics Trading Services, which supports the entire customs process from importing goods from countries outside the EU, customs warehouse accounting, and to sales to countries within or outside the EU.
