Challenge
The Domain Name Complaints Board needed an integrated IT solution that could provide a basis for more efficient and 100% digital case processing, including online payment of complaint fees.
It was also a requirement that a future solution should:
The previous platform did not have integration between the individual parts of the IT system, and lacked the option of encrypted communication with the parties to the case.
In addition, there were many manual processes with case files both digitally and on paper.

Solution
The Domain Name Complaints Board has, based on ESS and the associated modules ESS Web og ESS Portal, has received a solution with full integration with the meeting platform First Agenda and the payment platform QuickPay.
The solution meets the aforementioned needs, and has also streamlined all processes for employees throughout the entire case process, and the associated documents with multiple parties and hearings.
Lector has been responsible for the implementation of ESS, with configuration, development of functionality, and integration to the Whols database at DK Hostmaster and the payment platform QuickPay.
Technologies and tools
ESS is a Microsoft Windows application, developed in .Net and based on Microsoft SQL. ESS is integrated with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word. ESS Web og ESS Portal Microsoft Web applications are also developed in .Net, and based on Microsoft SQL.

The Danish Domain Name Complaints Board is an independent complaints board that handles disputes between registrants and third parties regarding the registration and use of domain names under the Danish .dk domain, as well as complaints about decisions made by DIFO/DK Hostmaster regarding compliance with the stipulated terms and conditions.
