ESS to the Financial Appeals Board

Challenge

Det Finansielle Ankenævn has undergone major changes following the merger of four appeals boards. Increased digitalization with the possibility of filing complaints online and communicating in a portal, as well as increased requirements for security and documentation in relation to the processing of sensitive personal data, are challenging the privately approved appeals boards and the way they handle appeals.

Det Finansielle Ankenævn needed to be able to meet the above-mentioned challenges, and at the same time help ensure that employees/case handlers at the board comply with the rules for the processing period.

Solution

Based on the upgrade of ESS and the associated modules ESS Web og ESS Portal, as well as a full integration with the meeting platform First Agenda, the Financial Appeals Board digitizes all processes related to the handling of customer inquiries. The solution provides improved focus on efficiently handling case processes and the associated documents with multiple parties and hearings.

What will you get out of this?

  • Possibility to complain online and exchange information digitally
  • Ability to communicate with external parties without these parties having direct access to ESS
  • Secure access to case documents
  • Fewer inquiries about the status of a case, as the parties themselves have the overview
  • Shorter case processing time
  • Easier to document all registered events in a case process
  • Ability to report to management and provide statistics to the organization
  • Supports the need to meet requirements related to
  • Personal Data Ordinance
